Cookie Policy.

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies SafeReplies uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Notice.

01 What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as local storage for the same purposes. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of these.

Note. The SafeReplies product scans email content in memory only and does not use cookies to read or store your emails. The cookies described here relate to our website and signed-in app experience, not the email scan itself.

02 Types we use

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site and app to work (e.g. keeping you signed in, remembering your cookie choice). These can't be switched off.
  • Analytics / performance — help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Only set with your consent.
  • Advertising / targeting — set by our advertising partners to measure the performance of our campaigns and to show you relevant SafeReplies ads on other sites (cross-site tracking). Only set with your consent, and never used to read or profile the content of your emails.

04 Third-party cookies

Some functions rely on trusted third parties — for example our payment processor, Stripe, during checkout. With your consent, our advertising partners may also set cookies that track your visit across other websites to measure and target our advertising. These providers set cookies governed by their own policies; rejecting non-essential cookies in our banner prevents them being set by our site.

05 Managing your choices

When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept all or reject non-essential cookies — rejecting blocks both analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the safereplies_cookie_consent entry in your browser (or all SafeReplies site data), which will make the banner appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising via youronlinechoices.com. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site or app from working.

06 Changes & contact

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or the law. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
